Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Go Camp Yourself, a product of Green Beach Group LLC (“we,” “us”), collects through the Service, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Service described in our Terms of Service.

The Service is a pre-launch prototype. We deliberately collect the minimum information needed to run the features we offer. Our policy is simple: we do not sell personal information, and we do not run advertising trackers.

Account information.

• Email address — required to create an account.
• Display name — optional, shown on your account.
• Password — hashed with Argon2id (a one-way, salted hash) before storage. We never store or see your plaintext password.
• Session token — a random secret stored in your browser's local storage (not a cookie), kept hashed at rest on our servers, and valid for up to 30 days.

Profile and activity information.

• Camper profile — the rig and camping setup you save (rig type, dimensions, site preferences, connectivity needs, accessibility options).
• Saved sites and campgrounds — items you save to your account.
• Bookings — reservation records you create through the Service, including demo bookings (clearly labeled, no real money involved).

Usage information.

Standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited may be processed by our hosting infrastructure to operate and secure the Service.

We use the information above to:

• Create and authenticate your account.
• Restore your camper setup and saved items on any device where you sign in.
• Show you your booking history.
• Operate, secure, and improve the Service.
• Comply with legal obligations.

• No real payments today. The Service does not currently process payments or collect payment card information. Simulated checkout flows do not charge any card.
• No advertising trackers. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking pixels.
• No selling of personal data. We do not sell or rent your personal information.
• No unsolicited marketing email. We do not send marketing email without your consent.

We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate the Service (for example, database hosting), under confidentiality obligations, and only as needed to provide the Service. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of Go Camp Yourself, our users, or others. If real booking and payment processing launches with campground partners, that will be disclosed to you clearly at the time a transaction is initiated.

We retain your account and the data associated with it while your account is active. Session tokens expire after 30 days. Because the Service is a prototype, we may delete all account data in any maintenance or reset; treat the Service as a demonstration of the product.

You can sign out at any time (which deletes your session token on our servers). To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data, contact us at the address below; we will act on reasonable requests.

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We use industry-standard practices appropriate to a prototype: passwords hashed with Argon2id, session tokens hashed at rest, and encrypted transmission (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is fully secure; we work to protect your information but cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective” date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be reflected here.
